Welcome to Life Science with Mrs. Steinberger

What Will We Study?

  • We will discuss topics such as scientific experimentation, forensics, cells, genetics, classification, plants, animals, ecosystems, and environmental issues.
  • We will also discuss organizational techniques such as study skills, notebook organization and scientific lab/journal writing.

What Supplies Will We Need?

  • A Folder
  • A spiral notebook or composition book
  • Pens and Pencils
  • A set of markers, crayons or colored pencils (kept at home)

How Will We Be Graded?

  • Every test, lab, project or homework assignment is awarded a certain number of points.
  • Each student will accumulate points over the course of the marking period.  The marking period grade will be determined by dividing the student's accumulated points by the total amount possible.  Points will be deducted from late work.

What Is The Expected Code of Conduct?

  • Put forth your best effort
  • Choose your behavior responsibly and be accountable for your choices
  • Respect yourself, others and your environment
  • Have a positive attitude
